Mason - Construction and Maintenance Technician (Contract Position)

We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our construction and maintenance team in Salalah. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining structures such as walls, floors, and other masonry works. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or construction plans to determine the scope of work
- Prepare surfaces for masonry work by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Lay bricks or other materials in a precise manner to create structures
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Repair damaged brickwork or other masonry works
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed on job sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in construction or maintenance projects
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of different types of masonry materials, tools, and techniques
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Preference will be given to African or Malayalee candidates who are fluent in English. This is an ideal opportunity for students looking for part-time work during their studies. Biometric passport is required for visa purposes.
