Claims Adjuster - English Speaking (Contract) - Zagreb, Croatia

We are a leading insurance company in Croatia seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in Zagreb. As an adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims, negotiating settlements, and providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders. This is a contract position with a starting salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze insurance claims to determine coverage and liability
- Conduct thorough investigations by interviewing involved parties, reviewing documents and evidence, and inspecting damaged property
- Communicate with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information and resolve issues
- Evaluate damages and negotiate settlements within authorized limits
- Maintain accurate records of all claim activities
- Provide prompt and professional customer service throughout the claims process
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient handling of claims

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Claims Adjuster or similar role in the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Must be willing to work on a contract basis without accommodation provided
