DevOps Developer - Almada, Portugal



We are currently seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for our software development teams to efficiently build, test, and deploy code.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated systems for software delivery
- Develop and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new code into existing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployments
- Monitor system performance and optimize as needed
- Stay updated on new technologies and tools in the DevOps space

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience working with containerization technologies (Docker)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Familiarity with source control systems (Git)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies

Salary: 1500$ per month
Contract job: This is a contract position for an initial period of 1 year with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Experience required: Minimum of 3 years experience in a DevOps or related role.
