Moderator - Community Engagement Specialist
As a Moderator and Community Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and engaging community environment for our online platform. Your main role will be to moderate user-generated content, ensuring that it aligns with our community guidelines and values. This includes actively monitoring comments and posts, responding to user inquiries and concerns, and enforcing appropriate consequences for any violations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor user-generated content on our platform to ensure it meets our community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Engage with users through comments, posts, polls, etc. to encourage positive interactions within the community
- Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for improving community engagement
- Identify potential issues or conflicts within the community and address them proactively
- Enforce consequences for any violations of the community guidelines, such as warning or banning users if necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Social Sciences or relevant field
- Proven experience in community management or moderation
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong understanding of online communities and social media platforms
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and difficult conversations with tact and empathy
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools is preferred
- Passionate about creating a positive and inclusive online community
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Shan (remote work is also possible)
