Entry-Level Turner in Washington, USA


Our metalworking company in Washington is seeking an Entry-Level Turner to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month. We are specifically looking for Indian candidates who have a biometric passport and are currently residing in the USA, but this is not a strict requirement.

As an Entry-Level Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual and computer-controlled machines to perform precision turning operations on metal components according to specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate turning machines to perform turning operations on various metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
- Measure dimensions of finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments
- Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of production and materials used
- Troubleshoot any machine malfunctions or errors that may occur during production
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- No prior experience required, but some knowledge or interest in metalworking is preferred
- Must have basic math skills and be able to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and bend or stoop as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Biometric passport (preferred)
