Restaurant Manager
As a Restaurant Manager for our establishment in Porto, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations. This includes managing staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and optimizing profits. Your role will require excellent leadership skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and schedule staff in accordance with business needs
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers
- Conduct performance evaluations for employees
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders
- Create employee schedules and manage labor costs
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of restaurant management software (e.g. POS systems)
- Familiarity with restaurant financials (e.g. budgeting, cost control)
