Junior Facade Engineer


A reputable construction company in Gujrat is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Facade Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, construction, and maintenance of building facades. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without prior experience in facade engineering.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of facade design plans and drawings
- Conduct site visits to assess existing facade conditions and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure that all facade designs meet building codes and standards
- Monitor construction progress to ensure that all facade elements are installed correctly and according to design specifications
- Conduct quality control inspections to identify any defects or issues with the facade installation
- Assist with the selection of materials and systems for building facades
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in facade engineering

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (with a focus on building facades)
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards related to facades
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or co-op experience in facade engineering or construction industry
- Knowledge of sustainable/green facade design principles
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g. ETABS)

Salary & Benefits:
This is a full-time position offering a salary of 1600$ per month. Accommodation will also be provided for non-local candidates.
