Industrial Alpinist



As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks at great heights and in difficult-to-reach locations, using specialized equipment and techniques. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, technical skill, and attention to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on structures or equipment in challenging environments such as bridges, towers, oil rigs, and wind turbines.
- Assembling and installing scaffolding or rigging systems to access work areas.
- Operating industrial rope access equipment to ascend or descend structures.
- Using hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
- Following safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Communicating effectively with team members on the ground to coordinate tasks.
- Preparing reports and documenting work performed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification in industrial rope access techniques (e.g. SPRAT or IRATA).
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time.
- Strong technical skills and ability to use specialized tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Almada, Portugal. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Portugal.

Experience:
No prior experience is required for this position. However, previous experience in industrial alpinism or other physically demanding roles is preferred.

We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have their own valid visa to work legally in Portugal.
