Job Title: Back-End Developer



We are in search of a skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining server-side web application logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be involved in integrating front-end elements into the application.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side web application logic using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Implement data security measures to protect against cyber attacks
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Design and implement efficient database structures and queries
- Troubleshoot and debug code for optimal performance
- Ensure scalability and availability of the back-end system
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Familiarity with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Knowledge of database design and management systems (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of security principles and implementation of data protection measures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues promptly
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring Boot or Django Rest Framework
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal. However, we welcome candidates from all nationalities who possess a valid biometric passport.
