Back-End Developer

As a Back-End Developer, you will work on creating and maintaining the server-side logic and database for our company's web applications. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the website's data and services are secure, efficient, and properly integrated with the front-end components. You will also collaborate with other team members, such as front-end developers and designers, to ensure a seamless user experience. This is a contract job based in Lisbon, Portugal with a salary of $1200 per month.

To excel in this role, you must have strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or PHP. Experience with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB is also required. While prior work experience is not necessary for this role, we do require candidates to have a solid understanding of back-end development principles and a willingness to learn new technologies.

We offer free visa sponsorship and airfare for selected candidates who do not currently reside in Lisbon. However, accommodation arrangements will be the responsibility of the hired candidate.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of server-side templating languages like Jinja2 or Blade
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in back-end development or web development is a plus but not required
