Industrial Alpinist

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Washington. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will perform various activities at heights, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to access and work in difficult-to-reach locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent physical fitness, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on structures such as bridges, towers, and buildings at significant heights
- Performing rope access techniques to access work areas safely
- Operating specialized equipment including harnesses, ropes, pulleys, and ascenders
- Ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress and any issues that may arise
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and any potential hazards or risks identified

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Alpinist or in a similar role
- Valid certification in industrial rope access (IRATA or SPRAT)
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively in challenging situations
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial alpinism
- Willingness to travel nationally or internationally for projects

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Washington (open to candidates from any nationality)
