We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Porto. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts. Your duties will include preparing ingredients, baking, decorating, and plating desserts for our restaurant. You must have a strong understanding of flavor combinations and be able to develop new recipes. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A degree in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred. Salary is $1100 per month.

We prefer candidates who are passionate about pastry-making and have a natural talent for creating delectable desserts. Your creativity will shine through as you develop new recipes that will impress our customers. You must have extensive knowledge of different types of pastry doughs and techniques such as piping, molding, and tempering chocolate. Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will be responsible for ensuring that all pastries are presented beautifully on the plate. As our Pastry Chef, you will also be responsible for managing inventory levels and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and plating of desserts during service hours. You must also have strong leadership skills as you will be overseeing the work of junior pastry chefs or assistants.
