Formworker



A reputable construction company in Karachi is in need of a skilled Formworker to join our team on a contract basis. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating the molds and forms that hold concrete in place during the pouring process. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and precision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials such as lumber, plywood, and steel
- Cut materials to specified sizes using hand or power tools
- Assemble and secure formwork using various methods such as nailing, screwing, or welding
- Pour and spread concrete into formwork according to project specifications
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand or power tools
- Monitor formwork for proper alignment and stability during the pouring process
- Remove formwork after concrete has set and clean up work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Formworker or similar role in the construction industry
- Familiarity with various types of formwork systems such as timber, steel, or plastic
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring angles, lengths, and dimensions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if required
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision under time constraints

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1500$ for this contract position.

Location:
This job is based in Karachi. However, we are open to considering candidates from other cities within Pakistan who are willing to relocate.
