Crane Operator (Contract) - Karachi, Pakistan


We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan on a contract basis. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment. This is a contract-based position with no accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts and rigging plans to determine the appropriate crane setup for each job
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections on cranes to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Move levers, pedals, or switches to control crane movement and lift or lower loads
- Communicate with other team members using hand signals or two-way radios during lifts
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while operating the crane
- Keep accurate records of lifts and maintenance performed on the crane
- Report any incidents or malfunctions immediately to the supervisor

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification from a recognized institution
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Understanding of load charts and rigging plans
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
