Librarian for Indian Nationals in Hawalli, Kuwait

We are a well-established library in Hawalli, Kuwait, looking for a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library's collection and providing assistance to library patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and classify books, journals, and other materials in the library
- Maintain and update the library catalog system
- Assist patrons with finding materials and providing reference services
- Plan and conduct library programs and activities for all ages
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs
- Train and supervise library staff and volunteers
- Monitor and manage the budget for purchasing new materials
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in library services and technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Librarian
- Familiarity with library automation systems and online databases
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
