Location: Herzliya, Israel (Preference for Indian Nationals)
Salary: $1000 USD per month


We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Herzliya. This is a contract position with a preference for Indian nationals. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain database systems
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions
- Ensure data security by implementing access controls and encryption methods
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize database structures for better performance
- Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Experience working with Biometric passports is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server
- Familiarity with database design principles and data normalization techniques
- Experience with database security measures such as access controls and encryption methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
