Database Administrator


We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Herzliya, Israel. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our company's databases. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Develop database backup and recovery plans
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Create and maintain user accounts and permissions
- Optimize database for maximum efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new databases or features
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies related to databases

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), SQL, and data manipulation languages (DML)
- Experience with database design, capacity planning, security, backup and recovery procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience working with large-scale databases in a cloud environment
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
