Contract Computer Systems Analyst - Funchal, Portugal

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Systems Analyst to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Contract Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing computer systems and processes to improve efficiency, functionality, and user experience. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance system functionality and usability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
- Conduct research on new technologies and tools that could improve system performance
- Test and troubleshoot systems to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
- Create documentation outlining system changes, processes, and procedures for future reference
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems or updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Salary: $1000 per month (accommodation included)
