Tiling Specialist


We are looking for a skilled Tiling Specialist to join our team in Funchal. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles on walls, floors, and other surfaces. Your main goal will be to ensure that all tiling projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles or into desired shapes
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling them
- Lay out tiles using various patterns and design techniques
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, sealants, or other materials needed for tiling projects
- Install tiles on walls, floors, showers, backsplashes, or other surfaces according to design plans and specifications
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of tiles and their installation techniques
- Proficient in using tile cutting tools and other equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans accurately
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision and symmetry
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, bending, lifting, etc.
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency preferred)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month for this contract job. In addition, we provide free visa sponsorship and air ticket for international candidates.
