Job Title: Computer Research Scientist - Biometric Passport Recognition (Contract/Faro)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Research Scientist to join our team in Faro on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing innovative solutions for biometric passport recognition technology.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify current trends and advancements in biometric identification technology.
- Develop algorithms and software systems for biometric passport recognition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for biometric identification.
- Write technical reports and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the implementation of biometric passport recognition technology.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in computer research or software development.
- Strong knowledge of biometric identification technologies, such as facial recognition and fingerprint scanning.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this contract position.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
