Executive Pastry Chef
We are hiring a talented and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Izhevsk, Russia. As an Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and production of all pastry and dessert items for our restaurant. You must have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, as well as strong leadership skills to manage the pastry team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef
- Culinary degree or equivalent training in pastry arts
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create new and innovative pastry items
- Strong leadership skills to manage and train pastry team members
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of pastries for service
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain all pastry menus, ensuring variety and seasonal changes
- Create new dessert recipes that meet quality standards
- Train and oversee the pastry team in preparation techniques, plating, and portion control
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Ensure all pastries are prepared according to recipes and quality standards
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate timing of dessert service with main courses
