Plasterboard Worker


A reputable construction company based in Braga is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls and ceilings in various residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific dimensions and spaces
- Install plasterboard using appropriate tools and techniques
- Secure plasterboard to walls or ceilings using nails or screws
- Apply joint compound to seams between plasterboard sheets
- Smooth out joints and imperfections using trowels or sanders
- Finish surfaces by applying coats of paint or wallpaper
- Repair any damaged areas of plasterboard as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs
- Knowledge of different types of plasterboard, their uses, and installation methods
- Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and materials used in the trade
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week for this contract position. Payment will be made on a weekly basis.

Location:
The position is based in Braga, Portugal. This is not a remote job, so candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Braga.
