Accountant vacancy in Salalah Oman

Junior Accountant


We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Salalah, Oman. This position is perfect for a Pakistani national looking for a full-time job without the requirement of English proficiency. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the senior accountants.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support senior accountants in analyzing financial data and preparing reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles
- Communicate effectively with other team members and clients as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Junior Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 900$ per month.

This position is based in Salalah, Oman.

Experience Required:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role is required for this position.
