Librarian for Siauliai City Library (Indian Nationals)

The Siauliai City Library is seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's resources, providing excellent customer service, and promoting literacy and learning in the community. This is a contract position open to Indian nationals with a salary of 1500$. We provide free visa and ticket for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and digital resources
- Assist patrons in finding and accessing materials
- Organize and maintain library materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Plan and coordinate library programs and events
- Promote literacy and learning through outreach efforts in the community
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries, troubleshooting technology issues, and resolving complaints
- Train new staff members on library procedures and systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a librarian
- Knowledge of cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal or MARC
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
