Job Title: Mechanical Fitter


We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Braga. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery according to specifications and safety standards. You will also be required to troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals to determine assembly methods and procedures.
- Assemble mechanical components such as gears, bearings, belts, and pulleys onto machines.
- Install and align machinery using hand tools, levels, and precision measuring instruments.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Keep accurate records of work performed using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
- Proven ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and equipment operation.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues quickly.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1300 per month.
