Interpreter - Malayalee (Los Angeles, USA)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Los Angeles. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English-speaking clients and Malayalee individuals. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and other events
- Translate written documents from English to Malayalam and vice versa
- Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate communication between parties
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Assist with any additional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Malayalam languages
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Linguistics, or related field
- Certification from a recognized interpreting program
