Preservation Architect


A reputable architecture firm in Eschen is seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to preserve and restore historic buildings and structures. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural history, design, and construction techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history and significance of a building or structure
- Evaluate the current condition of a building or structure and identify areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Develop plans for preserving or restoring historic buildings while ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed designs and specifications for preservation or restoration work
- Oversee construction projects to ensure quality and accuracy in preserving or restoring historic features
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Maintain accurate documentation of all preservation or restoration work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect with a strong portfolio showcasing successful preservation projects
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, design, and construction techniques related to preservation work
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations pertaining to historic buildings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
