Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect in St-Petersburg, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical and architectural structures. Your primary role will be to assess the condition of buildings, develop preservation plans, and oversee restoration projects. You will also work closely with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with preservation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical structures to determine their condition and identify areas in need of restoration
- Develop preservation plans that outline the necessary repairs and restoration work needed for each structure
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to oversee restoration projects from start to finish
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with preservation regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for restoration projects
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Conduct research on historical techniques, materials, and building methods to inform restoration decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of preservation regulations, guidelines, techniques, materials, and building methods
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget constraints and tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including contractors, engineers, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills for conducting thorough assessments of structures
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Preference for Indian nationals or those eligible for visa sponsorship
