Preservation Architect
We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in St-Petersburg. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while maintaining their architectural integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on the history, design, and construction of historical buildings
- Assessing the current condition of buildings and identifying areas for preservation or restoration
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for historical buildings based on research and assessments
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and contractors to execute preservation plans
- Ensuring that all preservation work is done in accordance with local regulations and guidelines
- Supervising the restoration process to ensure that the original design and materials are preserved
- Providing guidance to clients on maintenance techniques for historic properties
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation
- At least 3 years of experience in preservation architecture, preferably with historical buildings
- Knowledge of historic building materials, construction techniques, and preservation methods
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to historic preservation
- Strong research skills and ability to analyze historical data and documents
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
Location:
This job is located in St-Petersburg. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in St-Petersburg or willing to relocate.
