Unity Developer

We are seeking a talented Unity Developer to join our team in Funchal. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile and web games using the Unity game engine. Your primary focus will be on implementing game functionality, translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging gaming experience.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mobile and web games using the Unity game engine
- Implement game functionality as per design specifications
- Translate design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging gaming experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists, designers, and other developers to ensure high-quality game development
- Optimize game performance for different platforms including mobile devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during development
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve game development processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Unity Developer or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of C# programming language and OOP principles
- Experience with Unity game engine and its various features such as 2D/3D graphics, animation, physics, etc.
- Familiarity with mobile development platforms (iOS/Android) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

Location: This is a contract job based in Funchal. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates if needed. We also welcome candidates who have their own visa or are willing to obtain one.
