Junior Database Administrator


Our fast-growing company is seeking a highly motivated Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Faisalabad. As a Junior DBA, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining databases for our clients. You will also monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term growth within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure databases according to client requirements
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize database design for efficient data retrieval
- Create and maintain documentation on database configurations and procedures
- Provide technical support to clients as needed
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of SQL language and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with database administration tools such as SQL Server Management Studio or Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Database Administrator or similar role is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL) is a plus.

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
