Plastering Technician

A reputable construction company in Shan is seeking a skilled Plastering Technician to join our team. As a Plastering Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces according to project specifications. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work with various tools and materials.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and applying primer or sealant
- Mix plaster according to instructions and apply evenly using trowels, brushes or spray guns
- Smooth out rough spots and create decorative finishes as needed
- Repair damaged areas by filling cracks or holes with sealant or patching compound
- Clean tools and equipment after each use
- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Communicate with team members and supervisor regarding project progress and any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of plaster, tools, and techniques used in the trade
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity for manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail for precise measurements and application of plaster
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills for collaborating with others on the job site

Preferred:
- Certification or apprenticeship in Plastering or related field
- Experience with decorative plaster techniques
