Librarian
A reputable library in Mauren is seeking a skilled Librarian to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing our library collection, providing assistance to patrons, and promoting literacy and learning among our community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in library science, excellent organization and communication skills, and a passion for books and knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Catalogue new materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Organize library materials in proper order
- Assist patrons with finding and checking out books
- Provide reference services and research assistance as needed
- Plan and implement educational programs and events for all ages
- Manage the library's budget and make purchasing decisions for new materials
- Maintain library equipment, including computers and scanners
- Collaborate with local schools to promote literacy initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of cataloguing systems such as Dewey Decimal or Library of Congress Classification
- Familiarity with online databases and research tools
- Passion for books, reading, and promoting literacy
