Construction Manager - Gujrat, India
A reputable construction company in Gujrat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a proven track record of delivering successful construction projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of the project
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and safety standards are being met
- Communicate with clients regarding project updates, changes, and any issues that may arise
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and making cost-saving decisions when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, building codes, and safety standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management or a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors,and other stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to construction projects in India
