Part-Time Back-End Developer


We are currently hiring for a Part-Time Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Porto. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. This includes designing, coding, testing, and debugging of new features and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Design and implement data storage solutions using databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using languages such as Java, Python, or PHP
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to server-side functionality
- Continuously optimize application performance and scalability
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP
- Experience with database design and management
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript)
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality code
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with cloud-based services (AWS)
- Knowledge of web security best practices
- Passion for learning new technologies
