Preservation Architect

The Preservation Architect will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Faisalabad, ensuring their cultural and architectural significance is maintained. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, conservation techniques, and historical research methods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preserving cultural heritage and possess excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history and significance of historical buildings and structures in Faisalabad.
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure preservation efforts are effectively carried out.
- Oversee restoration projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of buildings and identify potential risks or issues.
- Implement conservation techniques to protect buildings from natural elements or deterioration.
- Develop creative solutions for preserving historical features while adapting buildings for modern use.
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in preservation architecture or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, conservation techniques, and historical research methods.
- Experience working with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders in restoration projects.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
