Preservation Architect



As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Faisalabad. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that preservation projects are completed successfully and in compliance with local regulations. Your role will involve conducting site surveys, preparing reports and proposals, creating preservation plans, and overseeing construction work. You must have a strong understanding of architectural history, materials, and methods used in historic buildings to ensure the integrity of the structure is maintained. This position offers a salary of 1600$ per month without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed site surveys to assess the condition of historic buildings
- Prepare reports and proposals outlining preservation plans
- Work closely with clients to determine their needs and preferences for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure projects meet safety standards
- Create detailed preservation plans including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Oversee construction work to ensure it is completed according to plan
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of project details, expenses, and deadlines
- Keep up-to-date on local regulations for historic buildings and ensure compliance in all projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Strong understanding of architectural history, materials, and methods used in historic buildings
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients and team members
- Ability to create detailed drawings using computer aided design (CAD) software
- Knowledge of local regulations for historic building preservation
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
