Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Faisalabad. Your main role will be to ensure that these structures are maintained in their original form while also incorporating necessary updates for modern use and safety. You will work closely with city officials, building owners, and other professionals to develop preservation plans, obtain necessary permits, and oversee construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of historical buildings and structures to identify preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with city officials, building owners, and other professionals to obtain necessary permits
- Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with preservation plans
- Source materials and hire contractors for restoration work
- Monitor progress of construction projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Create detailed reports on completed preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Knowledge of local regulations and guidelines for historic preservation in Faisalabad
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Attention to detail

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faisalabad (candidates from any nationality are welcome)

Contract Type: Full-time, with possibility for extension based on performance
