Job Title: Surveying Assistant


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Surveying Assistant in Funchal. As a Surveying Assistant, you will work closely with our team of experienced surveyors to collect and analyze data for various construction and land development projects. This is an entry-level position that does not require previous experience, making it an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in surveying. We are open to candidates of all nationalities and provide visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors with collecting and analyzing data using various tools and equipment
- Help set up and operate survey equipment, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Conduct surveys in the field, including measuring distances and angles, taking notes, and recording data
- Create detailed maps, diagrams, and reports based on collected data
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate data collection and analysis
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred but not required
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency in using survey equipment and software preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Must be willing to learn new techniques and technologies related to surveying

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal.
