Job Title: Head Baker

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Head Baker to oversee our baking operations in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality baked goods and a strong understanding of different baking techniques. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for managing and training a team of bakers, creating new recipes, and ensuring that all products meet our quality standards. This role requires someone with excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Accommodation and meals will be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day baking operations including production schedules, inventory management, and quality control
- Train and supervise a team of bakers to ensure consistent quality and productivity
- Develop new recipes while also maintaining traditional ones
- Order supplies, maintain equipment, and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective baking
- Ensure all products meet our high-quality standards and address any customer complaints or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional baker
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques such as bread making, pastry making, etc.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail with an eye for presentation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Education:
-Degree or diploma in Baking or Pastry Arts is preferred but not required

Salary:
-$1300 per month with accommodation and meals provided
