Contract Baker in Almada, Portugal


We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our team in Almada, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and customer orders. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and has experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to recipes
- Scale ingredients accurately
- Bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Decorate and present finished products
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary
- Ensure all products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Baker in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
- Knowledge of different types of breads, pastries, and baked goods
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions:

The salary for this position is $900 per month.
