We are hiring a skilled Slinger to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for assisting with the movement and placement of construction materials on job sites. Your main duties will include signaling crane operators, inspecting materials for defects, and ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of construction materials and their proper handling procedures. You must also be able to communicate effectively with crane operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations on the job site.

Responsibilities:
- Signal crane operators using hand signals or radio communication
- Inspect materials for defects and report any issues to the appropriate parties
- Use equipment such as slings, hooks, and chains to move and place materials
- Ensure safe transportation of materials on job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate movements and ensure safety
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Slinger or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and their proper handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed
