As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, and other special events. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and provide them with expert advice on flower selection and arrangement styles.

Responsibilities:
- Create unique and visually appealing floral arrangements based on client preferences and event themes
- Prepare flowers by trimming stems, removing thorns, and arranging them in vases or containers
- Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies and order new stock when needed
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of arrangements
- Collaborate with event planners to coordinate floral designs with overall event decor
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in the floral industry and incorporate them into your designs
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of work area to maintain a professional environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Florist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements
- Excellent design skills with an eye for detail and creativity
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g. flower arrangements)
- Flexible schedule to accommodate weekend events as needed

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1100 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Funchal, Portugal. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal without accommodation provided.
