Restaurant Manager (Indian Cuisine)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant in Sofia, Bulgaria. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and culture, as well as proven experience managing a successful restaurant. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including but not limited to staff management, budgeting, inventory control, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking to join a dynamic team in a vibrant city. This position offers a salary of $1100 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Manage and train staff in all areas of restaurant operations
- Create schedules and manage staffing levels to ensure efficient service
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing for ingredients
- Create and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine establishment preferred
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Budgeting and financial management experience
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Bulgarian language is an asset
