Indian Truck Driver


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Truck Driver to join our team in Nairobi. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another in a safe and timely manner. This is a temporary position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to different locations
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before and after each trip
- Keep accurate records of daily trips, including fuel consumption, distances traveled, and cargo information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers
- Maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exterior

Requirements:
- Valid Indian driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Familiarity with Nairobi roads and traffic regulations
- Ability to read maps, route sheets, and follow GPS directions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs on the road
- Excellent communication skills in English (Hindi or Swahili is an advantage)
- Physical ability to load/unload heavy cargo (up to 50 lbs)
- Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays if needed
