Surveyor Assistant - Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking a motivated and experienced Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work closely with our team of surveyors to assist with land and building surveys, collect and analyze data, and ensure accuracy of measurements and calculations. The ideal candidate will have experience in surveying, strong math skills, and attention to detail. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors with land and building surveys using various tools and equipment
- Collect and analyze data to assist in creating maps, reports, and other survey documents
- Ensure accuracy of measurements and calculations by double-checking work
- Maintain equipment and keep it in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project objectives are met
- Adhere to safety regulations on job sites

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in surveying is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in surveying or related field
- Strong math skills with ability to perform calculations accurately
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
