Concierge for Luxury Hotel in Salalah


We are currently hiring a Concierge to join our team at a luxury hotel in Salalah. As the first point of contact for our guests, the ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. The role requires fluency in English and strong communication skills to assist guests with their needs and provide recommendations for local attractions and activities. This is a seasonal position with accommodation provided, making it an excellent opportunity for foreigners looking to work in Salalah. A valid visa is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
- Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Make reservations for dining, transportation, and other activities as requested by guests
- Maintain knowledge of current events and popular destinations in Salalah to make personalized recommendations to guests
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the concierge desk area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy
- Knowledge of Salalah's local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options preferred
- Ability to work shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays
