A reputable construction company in Funchal is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes, preferably in the construction industry. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1300$. As this position does not include accommodation, preference will be given to local applicants.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including tower, mobile, and overhead cranes
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of cranes while following all safety protocols and regulations
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
- Work closely with team members on construction sites to safely lift and move materials
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate crane movements
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including hours worked and materials moved

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating cranes in a construction setting
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to crane operation
- Physically fit with the ability to climb ladders and work at heights for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with different types of cranes and those who are familiar with the specific regulations in Portugal.
