Experienced Crane Operator in Funchal, Portugal


We are in need of an experienced crane operator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a crane operator, you will be responsible for operating mobile or stationary cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment. Your main duty will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the crane while following all safety regulations.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a crane operator
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and procedures
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment according to construction plans or instructions from supervisors
- Perform inspections on cranes before each use to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios for safe operation of the crane
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating the crane
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted by the crane for inventory purposes

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.
