Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality and engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, and other platforms
- Conduct thorough research on various topics and industries
- Ensure all content is SEO optimized and follows brand guidelines
- Collaborate with clients and team members to determine project requirements and goals
- Meet deadlines and deliver content within given timeframes
- Revise and edit content as needed based on client feedback

Requirements:
- Excellent writing skills in English (no other language proficiency required)
- Ability to write engaging, informative, and error-free content
- Strong research skills with the ability to gather information from various sources
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Attention to detail with strong editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience in freelance writing or professional writing role (although no experience is required)
- Knowledge or interest in African culture, society, or current events
